VFW dues are just like a magazine subscription, giving you 365 days of membership in the VFW, which includes the monthly VFW magazine, access to VFW services, and club privileges.

If you are an annual member, you pay your dues on or before the expiration date. Example: You join the VFW and send your dues payment to National, or pay at the Post on 1 Feb and National processes your payment on 15 Feb. Your expiration date would be 15 Feb of the following year.

If you become an "automatically renewing" annual member, you authorize the VFW to charge your credit card for your dues each year on your expiration date, until you cancel.

If you become a Life Member you authorize a one-time payment (or a series of installment payments) to the VFW for Life Membership dues. Your membership will continue without further dues payments for the remainder of your life.

If you become a Legacy Life Member, you will have all of your "Life Membership" privileges and your Post roster will list you as a Legacy member after you are deceased.

Annual membership Dues are currently $46, and due on the anniversary of the date you joined the VFW or the date of annual renewal.

Student Vet's Annual membership is $20.
